Integration Toolkit (ITK)

Activplant’s Integration Toolkit (ITK) provides a structured query language interface to your ActivEssentials installations with out-of-the-box connections for Microsoft’s .NET development platform, including connectors for Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services, and Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services. For those wishing to integrate with systems not directly compatible with Microsoft technology, an open Web Service is available. Implementations of the ITK have been used to integrate with MES, ERP, corporate dashboards, and automated production workflows. Because the ITK provides a consistent, standard method of accessing ActivEssentials, your organization has the ability to query and integrate information from any number of Activplant installations, facilitating plant-to-plant comparisons and aggregating information for corporate dashboarding. If you have a need to access your manufacturing operations information outside of ActivEssentials, the ITK can provide the gateway.

Powerful Query Builder

Included with the Integration Toolkit is the graphical Query Builder development tool. Although this application allows simple, drag-and-drop query creation, the power and flexibility it offers is significant. The entire ActivEssentials configuration is available for inclusion in analytical parameters, groups, and filters. You can easily view result sets, and save queries for later use or for embedding directly in web services calls from external applications. When using Microsoft’s SQL Server toolset, the Query Builder is embedded into the environment making use simple, efficient, and familiar.
